Our Zip Coding system is geared specifically for directory publishers' data. We all know that many directories do not contain complete addresses. In many instances they do not contain a community name. Many other systems require you to assign a community name to the listing before a zip code can be assigned. Not ours! We have the technology to apply a zip code without a community present on the listing.
Our database is as current as possible. We receive Monthly Updates directly from the United States Postal Service, so that your directory contains the most current zip codes available.
Do you get tired of paying other vendors for attempting to apply zip codes to listings that could not be zip coded? Or for paying additional charges for community standardization before the zip code process? Well, stop! We only charge you for the number of zip codes applied to the file. This is incentive for us to do our very best on each and every project we zip code. And with zip coding, community standardization is never an additional charge!
For those of you publishing books in Canada we also have the ability to apply postal codes to your listings.
We have the ability to apply communities to your listings so your directory listing information can be as complete as possible.
If your directory is compiled from a variety of sources, you have probably encountered the problem with street names and communities not being spelled consistently throughout your book. Or maybe you just don't like the way they are abbreviated or would like to abbreviate the spelled out versions in order to cut down on the size of your directory. Let us take care of solving this problem. We will standardize your streets and/or communities the way you would like them to appear. This will give your book a consistent look and feel from beginning to end.
If your directory is compiled from a variety of sources, you have the potential of having many duplicate listings throughout your data. Why spend hours of your production staff's time combing through pages and pages of listing data? Let us find and eliminate those duplicate listings for you programmatically. We will keep the most complete listing so your book is as accurate as possible. Anybody can eliminate duplicates on straight-line listings, but our duplicate elimination process includes the elimination of duplicate captions as well.
With all of the area code splits and overlays happening nationwide, chances are one of your directories may be affected. We can assign area codes by any criteria you need. We can output your files with the proper area codes in place.
If you have multiple sources making up your directory, let us merge them into one file so you don't need to keep track of each source separately. Or, if you need your data sorted into publication sequence, we can do that too.
Many of the telephone company listings come without business/residential/professional indicators. This can cause a problem if you need to produce a book with a business section and a residential section. Our data conversion services take care of this problem. If any listings come in without this indicator we will determine which section the listing belongs in. We can then create a residential section file and a business section file ready to load onto your system.
If you only need certain listings extracted from your data, we can handle it! We can create multiple sections from one source file; let us do the work for you. We can select/reject listings based on just about any criteria you may need. Some of the criteria are area code, prefix, street, community, zip code, and in any combination you can imagine.
